Hyraxes are quite clever. Because they are small, they know their own weakness and know how to protect themselves. They build safe homes in the rocks of dried river valleys and use rocky caves as their refuge to protect themselves (Ps. 104:18). Today, we should also be like the hyraxes, being close to God and making God our refuge (Ps. 46:1, 61:1-3).
