After the Chinese Communist Party bypassed Hong Kong's "One Country, Two System" and forced the enactment of the Hong Kong National Security Law, Hong Kong Police uses the purple flag in later protests and demonstrations to warn protesters that they may breach the Hong Kong National Security Law.
The police said large amount of protesters gathered near Great George Street at approximately 3 pm. Some chanted "Liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our times", and may violate the offence of abetting or inciting others in secession. The police raised the purple flag and stopped and detained large amount of people.
