On 4 Jan, 1951, the Chinese People's Volunteer Army and the Korean People's Army entered Seoul. On 8 Jan, the KPA occupied Incheon, and the Chinese and North Korean forces reached the 37th parallel on all fronts. Peng Dehuai ordered the cessation of the attack due to difficulty in supplies, and ended the third campaign.
Sun Ning Railway broke ground and started construction in 1906, and until the entire route had service in March 1920, the construction lasted 14 years, building a railroad that is 138.101 km long. The main line ran from Doushan Town, Taishan to Beijie, Jiangmen, and the branch line ran from Taicheng to Baisha in Taishan; a total of 37 stations were installed in the main line.
